Admissions Marketing

Challenge: 

Each year, thousands of students from around the globe apply to Johnson & Wales University (JWU) to experience top-notch faculty, leading-edge technology and career-centric programs. In order to attract and engage prospective students, Johnson & Wales University approached (add)ventures to help re-envision its robust admissions marketing campaign. JWU wanted the materials to better communicate its unique academic, student life and financial aid offerings, while providing the supporting information students and parents need to make informed college decisions.

Response: 

(add)ventures worked with Johnson & Wales University to develop the copy and design for a series of undergraduate admissions materials, including letters, brochures and email blasts that comprised more than 20 touch-points with prospective students. The redesign of these pieces resulted in collateral that retained key messages but was ultimately more aligned with both the campaign theme and university brand standards. In addition, the pieces maintained a professional voice but used a friendly tone to make them more relatable to the main population of high school students.
