Converging all of our aligned dynamic disciplines, our blog provides an intimate look at what we do, how we do it, and what we believe. Think of it as the digital version of our live, work and play spaces. So, have a look. Read on. Watch. And, most importantly, join in.
Of all the things I find remarkable about Dr. King, his ability to communicate stands above all for me. There were many voices shouting for sanity in the civil rights era but Dr. King's words came through loud and clear for all to hear.
I believe it was because he shared his dream - not a 12-point plan or soulless strategic initiative. Dr. King had the courage to share his dream and people followed because they came to believe what he believed.
My wish for this Martin Luther King Jr. Day is that we all reflect on his dream and how he communicated it, as well as our own dreams and how we are going to better communicate them. We can all do a better job of getting people to believe what we believe and turn our dreams for a better community, state, nation and world into reality.
