(add)ventures, a multidisciplinary brand communications firm headquartered in Providence, has been named one of America’s fastest-growing private companies by Inc. magazine. This is the company’s sixth appearance on the annual list.
"We have been honored by the Inc 500/5000 for several years, but this award means the most of all of them," said Steve Rosa, (add)ventures president and CEO. "To achieve growth in the worst economy since the Great Depression is a credit to our leadership team and loyal employees. We managed to thrive when so many struggled to survive."
(add)ventures announces David Suarez as managing director, strategy/branding. With more than 20 years of management and media experience, Suarez will play an integral role in the ongoing expansion of (add)ventures. Suarez will be based in the firm’s Miami office.
Edesia, a Rhode Island-based non-profit whose mission is to help treat and prevent malnutrition worldwide through lifesaving Ready-to-Use Foods (RUFs), is proud to announce that its first major shipment has arrived in Haiti. The 1.8 million packets of Supplementary’Plumpy® will help address moderate acute malnutrition for 30,000 vulnerable individuals for two months and will be distributed through the World Food Programme (WFP).
(add)ventures client partner, Protech Automotive Services, celebrated its official Grand Opening on June 19, welcoming the community to its new Johnston, R.I., location. The family-friendly celebration included activities for kids and parents alike. The Injury Prevention Center was on hand to provide safety demonstrations, and Protech announced that $5 from every service between the grand opening and July 31 will be donated to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
(add)ventures has been a longtime supporter of the March of Dimes in Rhode Island, so when asked to co-chair the annual Citizen of the Year fundraising event, Steve Rosa, (add)ventures president and CEO, and Mary Sadlier, evp/chief strategy officer, didn’t hesitate.
“The (add)ventures team feels a strong personal connection to the mission of the March of Dimes,” said Sadlier, who also serves on the chapter’s board. “We were honored to work with such incredible community leaders to plan this successful event.”
