Transforming Careers through Education

(add)venturists are not only doers, we are teachers. From both the strategy and the creative sides, we are in the classroom sharing our expertise with college and university students as adjunct faculty members at some of the nation’s top institutions.

Wayne Vieira, svp, design/branding at (add)ventures, for example, has been a faculty member at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) for several years. There, he brings the real-world experience he hones with (add)ventures clients into the classroom, where he teaches students in RISD’s Continuing Education division. 

The non-traditional students we often teach are a great fit for our non-traditional approach. Like our clients, they are often at critical moments of transition - many hold degrees in other fields and are looking for ways to broaden their skill set and adapt to a changing economy. 

With infectious enthusiasm, we lead our students through exercises and assignments that mirror the tasks they’ll carry out in the real world once they complete their studies. Under the charismatic leadership of (add)venturists like Wayne, the students we teach emerge prepared to embark on exciting new professional ventures and successful careers.
