On Janurary 18th, (add)ventures joined City Year Rhode Island in a day of service commemorating the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. A team of employees joined more than 400 students, teachers and community leaders at Roger Williams Middle School in Providence, R.I. to clean and paint 40 classrooms and paint 23 murals in public spaces throughout the 80-year-old school building. Cox Tech Connection, a new service from Cox Communications, sends a team of trained professionals on house calls to help customers with all of their computer needs, including initial set-up, tune-ups on hardware and software, and security and virus protection.
Stephen Rosa, president and chief creative officer of (add)ventures, stepped up and accepted the Moccasin Award from City Year Rhode Island during their graduation ceremony last week. Hasbro, Inc. has joined forces with (add)ventures’ Cause Marketing Team to earn national media attention for the Hasbro Children’s Fund’s 3-year global giving campaign and its Hasbro Hero employee recognition program.
The Fund, which is a new philanthropic program that will help critically ill, physically challenged, and at-risk children worldwide, has committed funding to 10 nonprofit organizations. In all, more than $3.5 million will be donated over the course of the campaign.

(add)ventures has named Alex Gorriarán as Manager of Marketing. This new position will enhance client relations for a diverse and growing client base. Acampora graduated from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA, in 2004, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design.

As one of the few production facilities in the northeast producing digital media for the big screen, (add)ventures recently created a special movie trailer for the New England premiere of Zathura. (add)ventures’ also produced the movie trailer for last year’s box office hit The Polar Express.
CVS/pharmacy, the 11th largest retailer in the nation, “encourages and values differences among people and seeks everyone’s contribution.” (add)ventures recently developed the CVS/pharmacy Profiles of Diversity video.
Several CVS/pharmacy colleagues were interviewed and asked to describe the significance of working in an organization that values diversity. (add)ventures taped the colleagues in studio using a green screen and incorporated 3-D animation to produce a video that was dynamic and educational.
