(add)ventures has been named one of the nation’s 5,000 fastest growing companies by Inc. magazine. This is the third time the company has been recognized by the magazine for its growth. In 2003 and 2004, (add)ventures was included in the Inc. 500.
This year’s distinction places (add)ventures on the inaugural Inc. 5000 list, which celebrates the fastest-growing private companies in America.
“These companies are the elite--a mere sliver of the seven million or so companies in the U.S. that have employees,” wrote Inc. magazine’s Jim Melloan in an introduction to the list.
“We are thrilled that our hard work and perseverance has led us to this point,” said (add)ventures President and Chief Creative Officer Stephen Rosa. “Today we are proud of the important work we do for our growing base of clients.”
Ranking at number 3,194, Advertising Ventures is listed among companies in every business sector. Together in 2006, the Inc. 5000 companies produced $194 billion in revenue and employed nearly a million people across the country.
“The creation of the Inc. 5000 list signifies the expanding power of the entrepreneurial economy,” said Inc.com Editor Loren Feldman in a letter to (add)ventures. “By being a part of this monumental achievement, [the] company represents not only the future of business but also the future of our country.”
