Realparts.com Expands Reach of Service Offerings

Expansion announcement aligns with industry convention in Las Vegas

RealParts.com, an online service provider connecting automotive repairers with their choice of trusted recycled parts distributors, announces its availability in the Massachusetts area. The announcement comes as RealParts prepares to exhibit at the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) trade show being held in Las Vegas this week.

“RealParts is definitely not a database. It is an online application that is very different than any other Internet-based automotive parts locator service,” said Ken Weiss, an automotive industry veteran, and president and co-founder of RealParts. “Our approach was born out of necessity and the desire to make it easier for repair shops to find the parts they need. So far, the industry has lacked an online recycled parts inventory system that shops can rely on. RealParts is our response to that need.”

RealParts is an easy-to-use Internet-based application. Any part -- collision, interior and mechanical -- for any year, make and model can be sourced. Multiple parts searches are permitted with no limit on the detail or description that can be provided. Repairers can choose from a predetermined network of providers or can decide to build their own network within a specified mileage radius of their location.

The RealParts service is currently available in California, Minnesota and Chicago. The move to Massachusetts fits into the company’s plan to expand into all major regions in the U.S.

“We build markets one at a time to ensure our parts providers are onboard and up-to-speed so our shops will not be disappointed,” explained Weiss. “This thorough approach means recyclers always respond satisfactorily to RealParts customers’ needs. Searches are all live, and sales people always know the exact shop and each shop’s expectations. And at the end of each parts search there are no doubts as to the availability, detail, condition or price of the requested part.”

RealParts also offers a full level of customer service, including full-time customer support and “Recycler Reviews,” creating an industry forum for the exchange of ideas and reviews of parts providers.

RealParts will be available to vendors and other professionals at booth N2450 at the NACE National Exposition this November 4 through 7 in Las Vegas.
