(add)ventures, a multidisciplinary communications consultancy, recently received the honor of ‘Best in Class’ in three categories of the Interactive Media Awards (IMA). The IMA awards, considered among the most influential in the industry, singled out (add)ventures for excellence in the design, development and implementation of the CVS Caremark Recruitment Application, RxFactors.
This prestigious honor recognizes that the project met and surpassed the standards of excellence that comprise the Web's most professional work. The judging consisted of various criteria, including design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content. To achieve this award level, the RxFactors project had to meet strict guidelines in each area - an achievement only a fraction of Interactive projects in the IMA competition earn each year.
“It is such an honor to be recognized among some of the nation’s most elite interactive companies,” said Steve Rosa, president and ceo of (add)ventures. “This award reflects the hard work and innovation that our staff puts into every project we work on—and the faith our great partners like CVS Caremark place in us.”
RxFactors earned Best in Class in three categories -- Healthcare, Employment and Recruitment. The application was created for the recruitment staff of CVS Caremark, a Fortune 20 company and leading innovator of health and pharmacy services. The site provides a consistent, relevant, dynamic reference of information on careers in retail pharmacy. The application is installed on the laptops of users and does not require an Internet connection. This provides users the ability to access the information from anywhere at anytime while keeping proprietary information secure.
This is the second “Best in Class” distinction (add)ventures has received from the IMA. In 2006, the firm was recognized for its work on Whatsnext4me.com, an interactive tool that informs teenagers about careers in hospitality.
“The fact that we’ve won this top award on behalf of a Fortune 20 company as well as a non-profit startup, illustrates that our approach and passion works across the spectrum of design needs,” said Rosa.
