(add)ventures, a multidisciplinary communications consultancy and Minority Business Enterprise, announces two new members of its strategy and creative teams. Jason Pamental is the new director of interactive/technology and Andrea Barbosa is manager of public relations/social impact.
Pamental, of Rumford, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of interactive projects, integrating marketing, design, and business processes into a comprehensive solution. From shaping the initial project vision and developing the information architecture, to providing creative direction for the visual design and managing the implementation, Pamental oversees both the creative and technical aspects of interactive projects.
Pamental has more than 12 years of experience designing and developing interactive projects for clients ranging from local businesses to the Fortune 20. Prior to joining (add)ventures, Pamental served as director of web services for North Sails, was chief executive officer and founder of Bathysphere Digital Media and served as creative director for TWI Interactive.
Barbosa, of Somerset, Mass., has joined the (add)ventures team as manager of public relations/social impact. As a member of the strategy team, Barbosa draws on her experience in public relations and strategic marketing communications to create and implement targeted, comprehensive media relations strategies for client partners.
Prior to joining (add)ventures, Barbosa served as media relations officer for Lifespan, where she focused on marketing communications for Rhode Island Hospital and its Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Barbosa received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Marketing and Communications from Bryant University. Active with her alma mater, Barbosa recently completed a three-year term as Recent Alumni Trustee on the Board of Trustees at Bryant University and serves as an Alumni-Admission Volunteer. She is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
