Our Goal--(add)love to the Community

(add)ventures understands that philanthropic investments are a crucial part of a company’s success. For the past 20 years, philanthropy has been intricately woven into the fabric of our business. We believe true success isn’t what you gain, but what you (add).

Through (add)love, our corporate giving program, we support organizations through leadership opportunities, volunteering, education and sponsorship. Throughout the years we’ve donated toys and gift cards to needy children and families via our holiday giving program, sponsored community organizations and events, and volunteered our time and talent to worthy causes.

“By donating our time and talents to these organizations (add)ventures is infusing  a different kind of stimulus package into the economy,” says Steve Rosa, (add)ventures president and ceo. “With (add)love, we are helping the people and programs directly impacted by this recession survive these tough times.”

Throughout February, (add)ventures sent teams of volunteers to serve lunch at the McAuley House, a meal site and house of hospitality for Rhode Island’s homeless. The (add)ventures volunteers witnessed first hand a community thriving through the spirit of philanthropy.

“The look of gratitude of the people we helped at the House will be ingrained in my mind forever,” said Stephanie Cunha, an (add)ventures volunteer. “The two hours I spent away from my desk and serving hot meals on a cold winter afternoon really demonstrated that donating your time can be more valuable than simply signing a check and mailing it off.”
