New Public Relations Office Expands Our Reach

into Southern United States

(add)ventures is extending its public relations reach into the growing Greater Miami area by adding Brad Smith, a seasoned journalist and writer for Lonely Planet publications, to the team.

Smith offers our clients many years of experience in writing, editing, print and broadcast journalism, online communications, and public relations in the travel and hospitality industry. In addition to serving as a travel writer for Lonely Planet publications, Smith has been a senior writer for the Tampa Tribune, where, among other duties, he managed enterprise assignments and planned coverage for the Iraq War.

In the past, Brad has written extensively for the Springfield (Mass.) Union-News and the Riverside Press-Enterprise in Riverside, California. His many awards include earning second place with the Florida Press Club for Excellence in Government Writing during the 2004 presidential campaign; multiple honors for online and print deadline reporting "Skyscraper Hit" in 2003; and first prizes from the National Association of Black Journalists and the New England Associated Press.

Smith, who graduated magna cum laude from Colby College, will provide an important contribution to the Strategy Team by bringing expertise in journalism as well as his in-depth knowledge of significant national trends and strong business acumen.
