Teaming up with CVS Caremark to "Play Ball!"

CVS Caremark turned to (add)ventures this baseball season to help promote the CVS Caremark All Kids Can Baseball Camps, the company’s signature program with the 2007 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.

The Camps provide children with disabilities a dream-fulfilling opportunity to play ball at Fenway Park and get batting tips from the Red Sox batting coach. The (add)ventures PR team was brought in this year to maximize media exposure surrounding the camps in three challenging media markets: Hartford, Boston and Manchester, New Hampshire. Lively articles about the camps were secured in publications such as the Boston Herald, Hartford Courant, and New Hampshire Union Leader. Broadcast coverage nearly saturated each of the markets’ television network affiliates. In all, we earned over 1.8 million media impressions for CVS, at a value of close to $115,000.
