Allow Consumers to See Products and Make Informed Purchasing Decisions

Millions of viewers click through the Wal-Mart and Toys "R" Us websites seeking information about products. The more they know, the more likely they are to click and buy. Now, (add)ventures' product demonstration videos are making the sale easier for national retailers by allowing consumers to clearly see the high quality of products and how they work. In the past, this would be impossible to pull off on a large scale because video files were too large for the average web surfer. But new video compression technology and trends in the Internet service marketplace make it all possible.

The First Years, a leading designer, producer, and marketer of products for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, came to (add)ventures knowing that product demonstration videos can be powerful selling mechanisms. We worked with the baby product maker to develop and produce several videos that best convey the qualities of the products while keeping the viewer engaged and informed. The 90-second videos were posted on Wal-Mart and Toys "R" Us sites, and the results were almost instantaneous. For example, in less than one month's time, one of the product web videos secured more than 1,500 hits and helped to significantly increase sales of the product at Toys "R" Us.

In an ever-more cynical marketplace, it is critical to provide consumers with quality information about products and services.
