Social Media Day
Social Media Day, created by Mashable, is an established global event, but was not recognized in Providence.
As a digital media leader in Rhode Island, we created a social media campaign to develop and celebrate the first Social Media Day in Providence. Amongst the highlights, we:
- Created a Providence Social Media Day ThingLink that included original “Voice on the Street” videos and curated content
- Developed social-themed blog posts in partnership with local thought leaders, including CVS Health, Alex and Ani, Betaspring, the University of Rhode Island, the Rhode Island Foundation and Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau
Our Social Media Day ThingLink reached a global audience and had a click-through-rate of 72.97% and our Twitter campaign garnered 146 RTs.
