Hasbro, Inc. was looking for ways to focus its charitable giving to help critically ill, physically challenged, and at-risk children worldwide through the Hasbro Children’s Fund.
(add)ventures strategically positioned Hasbro and its charitable partners to communicate the partnership on a national scale. Our work has included promotion of the charitable premiere of the blockbuster Transformers movie. (add)ventures also generated national press and dozens of local stories from Pennsylvania to Maine about Angel Flight Northeast’s Santa Flights, a Hasbro Children’s Fund-sponsored initiative where volunteer pilots bring Hasbro toys to critically ill kids. From publicizing major gifts to philanthropic partners, such as Boundless Playgrounds, to strategizing ways to improve holiday giving programs, (add)ventures has increased awareness of the company’s tradition of supporting children worldwide and focus its charitable giving programs.
In 2008, (add)ventures secured more than 2.4 million impressions – worth more than $460,000 in publicity value – in media outlets throughout the country.
