Puppy love: Random acts of NICEness

Body Content

This spring, our (add)love team put their puppy love to good use during our annual Random Acts of NICEness event at Dexter Training Ground Park – a short hop away from our Providence headquarters.

We teamed up with Save One Soul Animal Rescue League to help adoptable dogs find new homes while handing out treats to hungry canine passersby. Family-owned pet store Rumford Pet Center also lent a helpful paw by donating coupons to their local stores.

We couldn’t think of a better way to spread some NICEness than by supporting a feel-good cause surrounded by our friends – some furry, some not – right in the heart of Providence. But the fun didn’t stop there! For two of our (add)venturists, it was love at first sight.

Congratulations to our manager, digital/strategy Lauren for adopting Brewski, a six-month old energetic and arguably adorable Labrador mix.

And our managing director, creative/branding Richard for bringing home Layla, a 12-week young, spry black Labrador and Hound mix.

But our desire to spread the message about local pets in need wasn’t just born out of our love for four-legged friends. In fact, our Random Acts of NICEness Day is just one of many elements that make up our corporate giving program, (add)love.

What is (add)love?

In our (add)love program, we identify causes that touch the heart of our community and then find meaningful ways for us to contribute. That means surprising hungry travelers with specialty donutsdonating holiday gifts to local struggling families and providing future and recent students opportunities to learn and gain exposure in the real world.
