A household name and leading retail grocery store chain since 1914, Stop & Shop invigorated its commitment to delivering a simple, personalized shopping experience with a corporate rebrand. As part of its new aesthetic, the company sought creative and strategic direction, development and implementation of in-store signage to elevate the customer experience.
To align the consumer experience with Stop & Shop’s refreshed market strategy, we created a comprehensive, clear and consistent visual in-store communications system featuring more than 300 pieces of décor signage. Piloted in 21 “test-and-learn” locations, the suite of assets simplified the customer journey through a wayfinding system to help shoppers easily navigate stores with familiar, yet fresh, architectural clues. Featuring updated points-of-interest and detailed product information, our décor package embraced Stop & Shop’s new look and feel, while helping the brand stay true to its promise of making consumers’ lives easier.
