RE-Inventing the Insurance Experience

One of the largest reinsurers in the U.S., Munich Re sought a strategy to engage InsureTech Connect Conference attendees. So, we reinvented the conference experience with key elements – earth, wind, fire and water.

One of the largest reinsurers in the United States and worldwide leading risk carrier, Munich Re sought a way to engage attendees at the InsureTech Connect (ITC) Conference in Las Vegas: the world’s largest gathering of insurance leaders, start-ups, innovators, tech entrepreneurs, investors and insurance industry incumbents from across the globe. With nearly 6,000 attendees at ITC, Munich Re sought a strategy to create a long-lasting impression through an event exhibit space and to engage attendees during a keynote speech by its United States CEO and President. The company recruited us bring to life their theme that empowered today’s risk takers to realize tomorrow’s ideas.


We assisted with the development of President and CEO Tony Kuczinski’s keynote speech, featuring an overarching theme of the four elements: earth, wind, fire and water. To further engage audiences, we concepted and executed an introductory video to accompany his address, facilitated an audience engagement platform and created an experiential exhibit space for attendees focused on collaboration and partnership. Using a 25-foot inflatable dome as our base, we created an immersive brand touchpoint where attendees watched a video that depicted natural catastrophes around the world to showcase the need of Munich Re. Additional features, including audio effects, lighting design and a surround sound with curved LED walls, created a completely immersive sensory experience for ITC Conference attendees.
