Each year, the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) hosts a gala to raise money to provide financial assistance to cancer patients and their families along with providing funds to support ongoing research. This year marked the 10th anniversary – a key milestone for the foundation. As part of the event, friends, supporters, patients, sponsors, volunteers and celebrities were invited to raise money for the foundation and celebrate the year’s accomplishments.
Founded in 2008 by former New England Patriots offensive guard Joe Andruzzi and wife Jen Andruzzi, the Joe Andruzzi Foundation was born out of Joe’s personal triumph over cancer and the couple’s ongoing support of cancer patients. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the foundation sought a way to encourage supporters, sponsors, volunteers and celebrities to raise more than one million dollars to provide financial assistance for patients and fund ongoing cancer research.
We transformed the Putnam Club at Gillette Stadium into an elegant setting to host a sold-out crowd of over 1,200 guests for an evening of cocktails, dinner and silent and live auctions. Our team developed the design and theme of the event, and created signage and intuitive marketing touchpoints to express the foundation’s tone of gratitude. To ensure the anniversary ran smoothly, we worked on-site to manage the run-of-show and technical presentations, including both audio and visual elements, while attendees celebrated a record-setting $1.3 million dollars in donations.
The event hosted a sold-out crowd of over 1,200 people. With everyone’s support, the foundation raised a record-setting $1.3 million dollars.
