Favorite Sport: Cheerleading! I grew up cheerleading and have always loved the energy and teamwork the sport requires. It's incredibly inspiring to see how much support goes into the team coming together to perform and how each teammate is as committed to everyone’s achievement just as much as their own. I was also just entranced with the fun, dazzling outfits, makeup and routine.

“I feel so lucky to be learning from such an inspiring and dedicated content strategist who greets every idea with excitement! I am thrilled to see where the next 4 weeks take me at (add)ventures.”

Favorite Sport: Tennis has continued to be an important part of my life since high school. It's rare to feel a part of a team in such an individual sport. My team enjoyed our time together and we won two state championships! I recently played in a father-son tournament, which has become one of my favorite yearly traditions with my Dad.

“It has been amazing to meet and work with so many great people here at (add)ventures, and to get to know more about the industry. Through this internship I have been able to learn about and work with virtual production, see projects from pre-production to post-production and get to experience it with a great team.”

Minor: Recreation, Park and Tourism Management

Discipline: Marketing

Favorite Sport: There’s nothing better than waking up on a Saturday in the fall and heading off to a Penn State football game. I’ve grown up loving the Patriots, but being able to be a part of this football community is truly special and so unique. Let’s go State!

“I feel so lucky to be a part of the marketing team and I’ve already learned so much from each team member. Everyone has been so open to helping me discover and including me in a variety of projects. The opportunity to manage a project by creating timelines, communicating with my team members and mentors, sticking to our creative brief, and admiring the amazing work that the entire team is doing is incredibly unique and I don’t think I would have been able to do this elsewhere this summer!”

Jessica Kalmowitz

School: University of Maryland

Major: Communication, Public Relations

Minor: Business

Year: 2025

Discipline: Content strategy

Favorite Sport: I appreciate my family's loyalty to the New York Jets, even though we live in New England (please don’t fire me). Showing up to school in Jets merchandise taught me to stay strong and stand by what I believe in. Watching the Jets beat the Patriots live in January was a real treat. We were one of the few families wearing green, black and white at Gillette Stadium.

“I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to learn from such talented and kind individuals at (add)ventures. My curiosity for exploring copywriting, social media, public relations and various other interests has been met with tremendous support and encouragement. I appreciate being able to engage in both internal projects and client work. I have enjoyed creating blog posts, media lists, website landing pages, content calendars, story pitches and much more.”

School: University of Florida

Major: Business Administration

Specialization: Wealth Management

Year: 2026

Discipline: Multicultural Marketing

Favorite Sport: I’m really not a huge fan of watching sports but there’s no better feeling than watching your country play soccer. The Copa America just finished, and seeing Colombia play was one of the highlights of my summer. Seeing so many people come together to support a country is just an indescribable feeling. And as Ryan Castro once said: “Si Juanes tenía la camisa negra, pues yo la tengo amarilla!”

“As an intern in the Miami office, I have been able to interact with co-workers from all across Latin America. Not only do I feel grateful to have the opportunity to learn from truly the best mentors, but I also appreciate the flexibility of my role. Some days, I may be doing strategy, marketing and research, while other days can vary between data entry, financial reports or management. You never know what project will come next. As a college student figuring out what I want to do in life, that’s all you want to do—learn.”

Favorite Sport: Hockey! Ever since I was little, my Dad would take me to watch the college hockey games at Providence College—me wearing his oversized t-shirt and rooting for his alma mater Boston University. Every week we’d go to the Smithfield Ice Rink for free skate on Friday nights and he would teach me to skate in the midst of us getting in trouble for sneaking our hockey sticks onto the rink. Growing up and eventually attending PC, my Dad would visit me at school and we’d attend the games with my friends, which was a blast. It will always be special to watch with him.

“I’m having an incredible time here at (add)ventures and am so grateful to have the opportunity to work with the most talented and warmhearted coworkers. I have gained so much experience creating exciting graphics and illustrations, working on client projects, constantly brainstorming with the best group of interns, while also learning an abundance of skills from my mentors and the entire design team.”

Year: Graduating in 2025

Favorite Sport: Although I continued to play field hockey and lacrosse in college, I will always feel a special connection to ice hockey. When I was young, my Dad taught me to skate on the backyard rink he builds every winter. Growing up, I spent countless hours at the ice rink, between attending my own and my siblings’ practices or watching my Dad coach local teams. It’s truly the most exciting and fast sport to watch, and I learned some of the most valuable lessons being on the ice!

“As a design intern, I’ve had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through client projects, while receiving guidance from my mentors and the incredible design team! I feel like I’m constantly learning new things and growing both personally and professionally. It’s amazing to be in an environment where I feel supported, valued and encouraged while developing my skills!”
