Our (add)prentice Summer 2023 internship program

We are thrilled that our (add)prentice summer internship program is back in full swing.

“We’re thrilled to have nine interns join us this summer as part of our (add)love program,” said Executive Vice President Mary Sadlier. “This program is designed to provide college students with real-world experience in a creative and collaborative environment, while also offering our (add)venturists a chance to mentor young adults."

These fresh faces are excited to embrace our NICE culture and absorb all they can from the creative and strategic minds at (add)ventures.

"My first impression really wasn't about the work, even though it is quite impressive, but was about the people who work here," said Jack Dumala, a second year graduate student at RISD interning as a creative strategist.

"I am astounded by the nurturing community of people. Everyone is unique and genuine in their own way," said Salve Regina graduate Meaghan Corkery, an (add)prentice on the marketing team.

So much has changed in the workplace over the years, but according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, internships remain a crucial way to advance your career. This elite group of young students is looking to do just that by learning essential skills to put them on a path to success.

"This summer I hope to gain industry experience and learn from thought leaders in order to make me a valuable asset to the workplace," said Ashley Tereso, a rising senior at Penn State and marketing team (add)prentice.

Design (add)prentice and rising sophomore at Drexel Sylvia Vileno echoes that sentiment saying, "I’ve already gained so much invaluable industry experience like diving into real projects and learning first-hand how clients and designers interact."

"In my time here thus far, I’ve been able to refine my skills as a communicator, writer, and collaborator," adds content team (add)prentice Sarah Lopez who is a rising sophomore at American University.

Glikeriya Shotanova, a masters student in the graphic design program at RISD, says “(add)ventures has provided me with the necessary resources to delve deeper into 3D, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence.”
